Happy fall! I can't believe how awesome our weather is! This week had a blast learning about the Letter Ll, -ag family, leaves, and continuing building number sense. {We specifically talked about comparing numbers.} I am still diving into math centers. This is only my second week, so I am not an expert, but I am going along with the experience to make it work for my amazing My … [Read more...]
Center Saturday… a little bit late
I am a day two late and a dollar short on Center Saturday. The family went to the county fair and had a blast... I ate part of a funnel cake... and hubs grabbed me a RED VELVET funnel cake to try as well. It even had cream cheese frosting drizzled on top! {It was good, but too heavy for me.} Apparently the baby, E, get motion sick. So... uppers... she lost it all at dinner. So I had to hold off … [Read more...]

Center Saturday (With a Tech Twist)
This week in GA has been atypical. I was at an all day iPad training on Monday, then we had snow days in Georgia for the rest of the week. {This never happens in GA... snow is a fake substance we make and let out kids play in with a sensory table! haha} So, I haven't seen my little loves in a week. Meaning, I haven't done centers with them in a week. I can't possible share with you … [Read more...]

I made it, I made it, I made it. I am so tired I can't even see straight. {If baby E doesn't start sleeping better, I may have a breakdown. She has slept through the night 2 times in 6 months.} I made and gave out 22 student gifts, 21 parent gifts since one student was absent, and I am almost done with Christmas at home. I have made cookies, ornaments, and homemade hot chocolates. I … [Read more...]

Woo Hoo! Center Saturday is here! This week we worked on the letter Bb, -op family, word make, and of course Christmas! Here are our weekly work centers step by step. For math, I took balloon accent cutouts and added numbers to 36. My class had to put the numbers in order. It killed me, but I didn't put balloons in any order or pattern. Seeing the pinks together is making me gag, … [Read more...]

Hi guys! I hope you all had a GREAT Thanksgiving Break and even better week back at school. Sometimes I love coming back from a break to see how many of those little ones actually missed me and missed school. It always seems to be those friends who act like they can't wait to be home... sleeping in... NOT working hard. Yeah, they come in after being home for 9 day and hug me, tell me all about … [Read more...]
