First Day of School Freebie Sign for Kindergarten

August 7, 2014 By Mary Amoson 10 Comments

Check out this first day of school freebie sign. Today was the first day of school. I am BEYOND tired! But, you know how it is… first day of school tired is the best kind of tired,  besides rocking your baby tired,  I know.

If you are tired like me and just trying to get all the things cross off your to do list that you MUST get done, let me help you a little bit. Check out my first and last day of school freebie signs.

I made this sign for my personal kindergartner and my class to use to hold up for their pictures. It isn’t anything special, but is it FREE.

Click here to grab this pack of freebie first and last day of school freebie signs.

More Back to School Help

If you are working towards you first, or even last day of school, you are not alone. Remember that even though time is never our friend… you will get all the things done and the first day will be a hit. Students don’t need or even understand perfection, they simply need a teacher who cares and is trying their best to make this day run smoothly.

Additionally, parents love it when the teacher takes time to capture memories like the first day of school and the last day of school. I have used these freebie signs for years and my families always compliment me on thinking ahead and being prepared. So many families forget the picture with the sign!

This week seemed to be the longest and slowest all This week seemed to be the longest and slowest all at the same time. In science, we dove into the water cycle. On Friday, we got to try some simple (covid friendly) science experiments. We melted colors ice cubes to show states of matter changes. Then we did small cups for sink float. We predicted if each item would sick or float, then tested out. We can choose f2f or virtual this week, so I only had 12 in the room with me and 8 at home.
