Techy Tuesday

January 8, 2013 by Mary Amoson 3 Comments

I have two fun apps to share with you today! Both of them were created by Little Bit Studios and are class favorites in my room!
The first one is called Bugs and Buttons.
It covers:
• Counting
• Fine motor skills (i.e. pinching)
• Path finding
• Patterns
• Sorting
• Tracking
• and more…
and more than that… it is FUN and very animated.
 {Yes, students NEED headsets to play this game because it gets noisy… in a good way!}
Additionally, they make another game called Bugs and Bubbles.
It covers:
  • Balance
• Colors
• Counting
• Letters
• Patterns
• Pinching
• Shapes
• Sorting
• Tracking
• and more…
My students CHOOSE to play these games on their own! That speaks volumes as far as I am concerned!

I am downloading a new one called Bugs and Numbers now, so I will let you know what my students think of it soon!

    Hi Mary,

Thank you for the ideas. I'm adding them to my technology list. My kids love anything bug related. Looking forward to what you think about Bugs and Numbers.

These apps look great! I am on Kinder this year for the first time and these look like a great addition for our new ipads.
