Simple & Fun SweeTart Heart Math

Who says we can’t sneak learning into every moment? Even on Valentines Day, even with candy, we can get our little learners engaged in amazing math activities to stimulating tons of math skills. Best yet… this is something you can download absolutely free.

First, all of these math activities can be used with SweeTart hearts. You can get a bag and divide it up for your students or you can use these individual baggies for students. (These are cheaper in grocery stores and Target so look there!) Check out the mini bags shown below!

Sorting and graphing fun

Next, students open their bags and sort to create a picture graph. You can see one pack is shown above. This pack did not have any purple hearts but three yellow hearts.

Candy Graphing Fun Perfect for Valentines Day
They can also use this graphing sheet to lay down their candies and even color in their graphs to show what candies they had in their bags. Then, students can compare numbers or even complete some simple addition problems. You can even level the activity based on your students abilities and needs.

Heart Math Printables Without the Candy

Finally, some of us are not able to use candy or any food in their classrooms. In this case, I have a few printables that allow your students to complete some fun math activities without their own candy. Students use the hearts representing in the candy bowl or baggie to be graphed or used for math fun.
