Easter Art: Need a simple, easy art project for Easter? Check out this watercolors Easter eggs art project.
How to Prep Watercolor Easter Art
Here is how you can prepare these eggs. First, trace several egg shapes onto white construction paper. I recommend white construction paper instead of copy paper because it absorbs the water better and leaves less of a mess.
Next, use regular glue to create fun patterns on the eggs.
Let these pages dry for a few hours. You can see when it is dry because the lines change from white to clear. You can see a close-up of the art project. Keep in mind that the thicker the glue, the longer this will take.
Now, that the glue is dry, cut out the eggs, leaving space on the sides.
Now the Fun Begins!
Let your little wonderfuls paint the eggs, using the lines of dried glue. You can see how the watercolors do not attach to the paper where the glue lines are, creating an amazing design.
Another BUNNY Easter Idea
And check out these washcloth bunnies… they are a work in progress but they are coming along nicely!
I write personal notes and place them inside eggs. Then, I put the egg inside this washcloth bunny as a personal gift for each student.
