The Why of Sharing Kindergarten

The Why

The Why of Sharing Kindergarten

Sharing Kindergarten’s website started in my 7th year teaching Kindergarten. I instantly feel in love with Kindergarten and I knew I had found exactly what God put me on this year to do. I have learned so much from this grade and can’t imagine doing anything else. The kids are amazing, the curriculum is fun and exciting, and I never get bored.

What I Didn’t Learn in College

My first year teaching Kindergarten was a huge wake up call to me. To start, I simple did not know what I did not know. College did not prepare me for the real world and stress and pressure of teaching Kindergarten. Then, the work load and requirements were overwhelming. Finally, once I learned some tricks and skills, I couldn’t let the cycle of informing continue… I had to share what I know works in Kindergarten with you.

Sharing Kindergarten Together

This journey of Sharing Kindergarten is for both of us, the reader and the author. Through the process of learning more about Kindergarten and teaching and the world, I have also learned that… I have a LOT more to learn. But I also have a lot to share and a lot to give the universe of Kindergarten. Because I am a constant learner and my teaching is always evolving. I want you on this journey with me.

Additionally, I am still learning, still having fun, and open to all ideas in the world of Kindergarten. I am hoping to become the best version of me and help you become the best version of you as we travel this journey of Sharing Kindergarten together.
