Description
50th Day of School Activities and Printables for Kindergarten: Let’s JUMP, Jive, and have a blast celebrating the 50th day of school. These activities are meant to provide your little learners with 13 EDUCATIONAL and fun fifth day of school fun that are ideal for Kindergarten or first grade.
This set of activities included in this 50th Day Activities and Printables pack include:
⭐1 of 50th Day of School Activities: I can find the number 50. There are two sets of 4 mats. Each set has different numbers on them. Laminate these mats and have students circle the number 50.
⭐2 of 50th Day of School Activities: I can color the path to the 50s. Get one of the two versions of printables. Students should color the math to the ending number. Answer keys are provided.
⭐3 of 50th Day of School Activities: I can write the number 50. This is a handwriting practice with two versions.
⭐4 of 50th Day of School Activities: I can write the number 50. You will get 5 versions of these printables. Students write in the missing numbers.
⭐5 of 50th Day of School Activities: I can make number puzzles to 50. Print out two sets of the colored mats you want to use. Laminate both. Take one version and cut it into chunks. Place them in the baggie. Students can use the complete page as a mat they could use to build their 50s chart on top of.
⭐6 of 50th Day of School Activities: I can play a number identification game with numbers 1-50. There are two mats to choose from and number cards. Choose either mat and the numbers you desire. If students know the number, they can roll a die and move that many spaces toward the end to win.
⭐7 of 50th Day of School Activities: I can break down numbers by tens and ones. You will see 6 color-coded sets of cards that are all identical. This is so you can print sets of a small group of students to use, each with its own colored set. I do not recommend using ALL the cards, but only some. Students look at the number and break it down into tens and ones. You will also find a worksheet with 9 spots. I did not write in the numbers so you can write in the numbers you want your students to work on. For the worksheet, you can use the CARDS given to be the numbers they write on the record sheet. (Notice the orange and purple options have some of the numbers filled in for the learner.)
⭐8 of 50th Day of School Activities: I can count sets to make the number 50. You will find two versions of this activity. Each version has two worksheets, one with spots on it to help guide the learner. You can use crayons, markers, dots, stickers, or whatever you want. You will also see another sheet with 10 columns 10 for the same reason.
⭐9 of 50th Day of School Activities: I can read about the 1950s. Students will use SELECTED pages given by the reader. Please do not use them all. Some pages are easier and some pages are harder. (Please also use the provided PowerPoint file to teach students about the 1950s as well. The pages are the same on the PowerPoint and the reader.)
⭐10 of 50th Day of School Activities: I can write about the 1950s. Students can use the pocket chart header and pieces to talk about the 1950s. THEN students can use the selected two worksheets to write about what they would want from the 1950s and what they would not want.
⭐11 of 50th Day of School Activities: I can write about what I want or not from 1950. After you discuss the 1950s, students can pick the image and write about what they want or do not want from the 1950s and write about it.
⭐12 of 50th Day of School Activities: I can write about numbers more than and less than 50. Students can take the sheet and write numbers that are less than 50 on the left and more than 50 on the right. This is also a FUN craft to make if you use construction paper to make a record and give students white crayons to write on the record.
⭐13 of 50th Day of School Activities: I can sort numbers greater than and less than 50. Students use the cut and sort to sort numbers more than and less than 50. Use the ready-to-use option OR the second printable so that you can add your own numbers to the bottom.
