I Love Leapfrog DVDs and Apps for my own child and for my students.
I have noticed that soon after they release there videos, apps soon follow.)
Leapfrog JUST released two new DVDs.
The first one is all about opposites.
I don’t know why, but K kids either “get” opposites or they do not.
And for some reason if they don’t get them, they confuse them with rhyming words. I think it is a great resource for preK and K teachers, esp at the beginning of the school year. My 4 year old has it at her sitters house now.
The next one is Adventures of Shapeville Park.
This video covers shapes, size comparisons, and measurement.
I grabbed this videos at Target, but you can click on the images above to grab them from Amazon if you can’t find them.
As I said, quick and easy.
Are you and your students fans of LeapFrog DVDs and apps?
I have the Opposites video from Leapfrog and it has really helped my students especially my ELL students understand opposites. At the beginning of the year, we do a short "rest time" after lunch and I show half of a Leapfrog video during that time. (The other half the next day). The students love them and I love that they are learning when they watch them! 🙂
