Fall is in the air…
And those little wonderfuls you love so much are excited to Trick or Treat for candy…
But what about YOU?
How do you feel about some “Tip” or Treating with Freebielious?
{Meaning we will give you some tips to use in your classroom and a freebie.}
That’s right – I have teamed up with my Freebielicious friends again to share some
teaching tricks and special free treats for you!
I am going to share with you some Halloween classroom party ideas…
just in case you are permitted to have them, of course.
I invite any and all parents who want to come to join us.
I open up all our centers like we normally would do,
but each center is a FUN Halloween themed activity… just for that day.
Each parents mans a center and we have fun!
I have all the centers ready to go for that parent so it is as easy for them as possible.
I hope you can grab an idea or two!
One center we have each year is cookie decorating.
You can see the plates and the ghosts cookies.
We frost them with white and decorate them any way we want
with sprinkles and orange and black frosting.
Then we break open the juice boxes and snack away.
Another center uses those cheapo spider rings and straws.
My student design a race track…
then BLOW their spiders across the track to see who wins.
Ummm… yes, they love this game.
No, we don’t share straws.
{Can I count this as a STEM activity??}
We also do the M&M graph…
I mean…
I LOVE it and so do they.
Who am I to say no to it???
And we also have TP ghost bowling…
I take the cheapo school rolls and add construction paper faces.
We take a small round pumpkin and bowl away.
{I make a start line with masking tape and
I put masking tape X’s under the TP rolls’ places to help my kinders reset the “pins.”
Does the pumpkin end up getting smash?
YES
But how much fun is this???
And my treat for all of you involves a book I absolutely LOVE…
Too Many Pumpkins by Linda White.
After reading this book,
we play this reading comprehension game together.

but what about for the rest of November?
I hope you choose to look at these FUN filled learning activities to help
you plan and prepare for November…
Hop along to the next Freebielicious friend to see what their Trick & Treat is!
You guys need to head over to Little Miss Kindergarten.

Thank you.
I love, love your ideas for the activities that parents help lead! We can't do Halloween at school, but we do "harvest parties" on Halloween day, so anything I can tweak to just make seasonal is awesome! Thanks for the great ideas always and the fun freebie!
I love it! I just read Too Many Pumpkins! This is perfect!!
