Peek at My Week with Some Freebies

April 28, 2013 by Mary Amoson 2 Comments

I am going to attempt to show you some of my visual lesson plans for this week with Dee Dee Willis’ Linky Peek at My Week.
And I have some freebies to give you guys too!
This week my amazing kids are learning about verbs, the -oo digraphs like book and spoon, life cycles, the -ook family, sight word does, and mixing addition and subtraction.
During calendar, I have several verb activities lined up. We are going to sort nouns and verbs. We will be identifying verbs in sentences and doing our Grouchy Ladybug hunt around the room to find some verb words.
I have a regular version and a QR code version of this so I can’t wait to try it out.

I am also doing many of the math activities from this pack this week.

In phonics, we will be using my FREEBIE oo sheets to learn about this sound.
We will do these sheets on Monday through Thursday. I usually do a whole group chart on Friday.
Here are my phonics sheets that are free.

Here is my whole group chart that is also free.
We also have some FUN stuff lined up for Daily 5 time. We are using the book, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. I just updated this pack.

Here is a glimpse at the old pack before the facelift. All the materials are the same, I just made it look nicer and easier for the students to use.

Check out this linky party here!
I hope these items help you prep and prepare for the week ahead.
