And when I discover a techie tip… I want to share it with you guys!
When I want to direct my students to a specific website on a computer or smart device, I use this sheet to get the kiddos to the right place independently.
Here is my newest (and free!) creation!
They use the pictures to “read” the site, the hyperlink to find the right site on a computer, and the QR code to find their way on a smart device!
How to Use:
Computer-
•Print
this sheet out for your students to use OR save to your computer.
•Students
can look at the logo for the site and click on the link to take them to the
site they want.
•Make
an extra copy, laminate, and place next to the computer. Circle the site you
want a student to go to with a dry erase marker if you are directing them to a
specific site.

Smart Device-
•Print
out sheet and place at a station. I advice you not to laminate as the glare can
mess up the code sometimes.
•Students
can use a free QR scanner to scan the code to take them to that specific link.

take you to the mobile version of that site as default.

Wow! Thank you so much!
Cool! Thanks! I did a qr code at the beginning of the year for open house!
If you are using this for a computer, would I need to put these links as shortcuts on my desktop and then the kids look at the paper copy on the table, look at the circled site, and then find the one on the desktop that is the same? Is that right? Or am I way off?
What kind of qr scanner do you have?
BRILLIANT!!! I cant believe I never thought of that!!!
