My class is ALMOST done with the whole Alphabet! This week we are covering Zz and next week, we are doing Qq. (Well, really qu.) I am glad to have y and w covered, because I have a ton of kids who were confusing these sounds. Now, I only have a few that just forget and need reminders here and there.
I have updated the phonics file {here} to include all the new letter sheets for the standard font. I have not updated the D’Nealian version yet, but I will soon.
I am looking forward to egg dying and egg hunting on Thursday and Friday. If the weather is nice, I like to have egg rolling contests as well. It has been freezing here so I can’t promise my kids they will be outside long enough to egg roll just yet.
