I love centers in Kindergarten and I love to share the ideas we do at centers.
I use my centers to review skills and to play through the idea to learn.
I am also able to assess skill mastery in centers since the students are competing tasks based on Performance Standards.

Math- reviewing and measuring weight
Writing numbers- we use this about once a month to review writing numbers correctly.
Reading- matching pictures to words for our word family -est.
Phonics- Letter Qq- Q sort mats
Unit- Sorting US Symbols on left and making a map of the US puzzle on right.
What fun ideas did you have at centers recently?
Your centers look like fun! One thing I like for my students to do in centers is rebuild poems.
