It is that time again… Center Saturday!
Here is an (updated) version of my centers from this past week!
We are learning about the letter Jj, the -ig family, “are” sight word, and Halloween.
Yellow- Math- I made these FUN jelly bean jars with ten frames. My students had to match the ten frame to the jar. (This activity can be found here.)
Orange- Handwriting- This is another Jelly Bean activity… writing numbers to 30. (This activity can be found here.)
Red- Reading- I got this freebie a year ago and have no clue who made it! (email me if you do know!) Students have to match up the uppercase letter, lowercase letter, and picture blue to create a candy corn.
Purple- This is an sorting activity from Teacher Created Resources.
Blue- Unit- This is a fun Halloween graph I made using erasers.
Green- Unit- We made these There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Bat. My kids LOVE these. (Grab this activity here)
I had a great suggestion to make the pictures bigger… so I took away as many words as I possibly could and color coded the frame of the pictures so I can describe them to you. Please let me know if you like this “look” better!
