One of my favorite parts of teaching K is using art to make a lesson memorable.
My kinders seems to “get” ideas and remember them when we relate an art project to it.
On Wednesday, we returned from a LONG weekend celebrating Columbus Day. I was so happy to be able to make these art projects with my kinders for Columbus day.
Here is our wall display… I love these boats.
You can grab this art in my Columbus Day Hooray! Pack here. |
We also learned about animals last week.
I am a huge fan of
here |
and was so excited to buy a lot of her art projects.
I decided to use her farm pack to make our lessons about animals memorable.
here is the pack on TpT |
Here is our attempt at a barn (please tell me you think this is a barn!)
and our amazing barn animals.
Here is a close up on some of these animals.
My classroom is farm friendly inside and out. My students had so much fun making these crafts and looked forward to making them each day! My students also learned so much about babies and mothers, coverings, and homes of animals as well.
Thanks Teri!
I love your barn. It looks like your children would have had learned a lot from this unit while having fun also.
Oh my gosh the farm animals look adorable {and the barn does, too}!! Thanks so much for the shout-out!! 🙂
